CLIENT CHALLENGE
The client faced the challenge of introducing a solution to a prospective customer who was unaware of their need for it. The technical details of the data work involved was being lost on them. Originally crafted as a pitch video for this prospect, the explainer quickly surpassed its initial purpose and has already proven its worth above and beyond this, as you can see below in the results section. Another key problem the client highlighted was the fact they couldn’t mention the name of the firm their department was part of. It is one of the "big four" accounting firms in the UK and was imperative to steer clear of mentioning the company's trading name throughout the production.
STRATEGY
Our main objective was to identify the critical pain points that their data solution addressed for this corporate client. We delved into the benefits that would arise from resolving these pain points and created a compelling call-to-action (CTA) that would enable our client to leverage his existing relationship with said prospect. To ensure compliance with their limitations around mentioning the accounting firm's name, we refrained from explicitly using the companies' trading name. Instead, we created a distinct logo, slogan etc. for the client's department and subtly incorporated elements of the multinational's color scheme.
RESULTS
Shortly after the client approved the explainer, it proved to be a game-changer during a pitch conducted just a few days later. Not only did it secure our client a project worth more than 35 times the cost of this video package, but it also presented the client with the potential to expand this into a project valued at over 200 times the cost! Our entire team is filled with anticipation as we eagerly wait to see the myriad of opportunities this video will unlock, allowing this data department to effectively convey their unmatched value of putting information to work for their esteemed corporate prospects.
